Through its public interest remit, ACCA promotes appropriate regulation of accounting and conduct relevant research to ensure accountancy continues to grow in reputation and influence. We strongly support HKSFL's mission to raise the financial literacy of Hong Kong's general public.
Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association
As an association that represents close to 100 members from the financial industry in Hong Kong and across Asia, ASIFMA strongly supports the Hong Kong Strategy for Financial Literacy and its Money Month initiative. With many jurisdictions in the region, including Hong Kong, facing aging populations which do not save enough for retirement, there is an urgent need for improved financial literacy and education, and promotion of long term savings and retirement planning. Our members are ready to support and contribute to these efforts around the region.

CFA Institute also values the education of new investors in order to help develop better consumers of financial products. We support the mission and goals of implementing the HKSFL.

The Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK) is a leading non-profit professional organisation that promotes the importance of financial planning and advances professional standards. Like the owner of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM mark in the United States the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) which is an affiliate member of IOSCO and OECD-INFE, the IFPHK supports the inclusion of the financial planning process and information about financial planning in the HKSFL.
The IFPHK believes that raising the levels of financial literacy will not only help the public achieve financial independence, but will also elevate the standards of financial planning services. We value the opportunity to work with the IEC in developing the HKSFL, an important cornerstone in the financial education arena in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) shares similar mission with the HKSFL and is dedicated in enhancing the professionalism for banking practitioners through quality training and examination. We are the only professional institution in Hong Kong acting as the training and certifying hub for the banking sector. We believe advancing financial literary is crucial in strengthening Hong Kong position as an international financial centre and asset management hub.

The Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts (HKSFA) shares the mission of HKSFL in financial education, a cornerstone to a healthy and resilient financial market which in turn enables Hong Kong being an international financial centre and an asset management hub. As a leading investment professional body in Hong Kong, HKSFA has always been active in raising the standard of practices of the financial services industry and educating the investor public. Since 2007, HKSFA has been partnering with SFC/IEC, as well as various public media in Hong Kong (print, radio and TV), to provide free educational seminars and contents to the general public.
